Al’s Trucking & Building Supplies carries many types of bulk materials for delivery or pickup. We have listed a brief description of the aggregate products below:

Class 2 Fill Sand

 1.     Class II fill sand

Mason Sand

 2.    Mason sand: works well for mortar, beaches and sand boxes.

3.    2NS sand: washed coarse screened sand. Primarily used for septic systems and concrete mixes.

60 40 Concrete

4).    60/40 sand stone mixture. Premixed for use with Portland cement to make concrete.

Wash Stone

Peastone Wet

1).    Peastone: generally 1/4″ max. in size. It is used primarily for drainage applications and can also be used in landscaping. Note that because of the compaction of almost 98% it makes good fill material.

6A Stone Wet

2).    6A Stone : This stone is generally 3/8 to 1 1/2″ in size. It is commonly used for septic systems and landscaping.

1 2 Roofing Stone Eggrock

3).    1” x 2” Roofing stone/egg rock/round stone: This material is commonly used for flat roof applications as well as landscaping.

21A Ccommercial

4).    21AA or 21AC: 1-1/2″ max. crushed stone. This stone is most commonly used on driveways as a top dressing.

Oversized Rock

5).    Boulders and other non-stock rock can be ordered on special requests.

Crushed Concrete

21AA Limestone

1).    21AA Crushed concrete: 1-1/2″ max. in size and predominately used as a top dressing for driveways

2).    1” x 3” Crushed concrete: This is primarily used as a base coat for new driveways or roads.

Limestone

Lime Stone Slag

1).    #10 Limestone screenings 1/10″ max. in size material. It is  referred to as diamond dust or crusher dust. It is used for baseball diamonds, infields and is most commonly used by landscapers as a base material for brick pavers.
*Note: We sell this as a substitute for “Slag Sand”

21AA Limestone

2).    21AA Limestone is 1-1/2″ max. in size (down to powder). This stone is often used as a top dressing for driveways and other landscaping projects, including brick pavers.

23A Limestone

3).    23A Limestone is 1” max. in size (down to powder). This stone is often used as a top dressing for driveways and other landscaping projects, including brick pavers (this stone shares the same usage as 21AA).

4).    6AA Limestone 3/4″ max. cleaned (with powder sifted out) is used as a landscaping stone, storm & sewer tile drainage component, and can also be found in concrete mixtures.

Ohio 2 1 x3

5).    OH2, Ohio #2 and 1″ x 4” dimension cleaned (with powder sifted out). This is a good driveway base and is also used for landscaping.
